How often should I service my aircon?
For most homes in Singapore, you should service your aircon once every 3 to 4 months.
If you use it daily or overnight, more regular cleaning keeps it cooling properly and prevents leaks or smells.
Skipping servicing for too long can cause your aircon to work harder, use more energy, and cool less efficiently.
What’s the difference between General Servicing and Deep Cleaning?
General Servicing is regular maintenance, we clean filters, flush the drainage pipe, and check gas pressure. Deep Cleaning (Chemical Wash or Overhaul) goes further, removing trapped dirt, mould, and odour inside the unit. If your aircon still cools but feels weaker or smells musty, it’s time for deep cleaning.
Do I need to service both the indoor aircon and outdoor condenser units?
Yes. Your indoor aircon unit cools the air, while the outdoor condenser unit releases heat.
If you only clean the indoor unit, the condenser outside can still get clogged with dust and make the whole system less efficient.
We recommend condenser servicing once or twice a year for best performance.
What’s the difference between a Chemical Wash and a Chemical Overhaul?
A Chemical Wash cleans the internal parts without removing the whole unit - it’s for light to moderate dirt.
A Chemical Overhaul means dismantling the aircon completely, washing every part, and putting it back - best for very dirty or old units.
If your aircon is cooling but weak, go for a wash. If it’s barely cold or smells bad even after cleaning, you likely need an overhaul.
How long does aircon servicing take?
General Servicing: About 20 - 30 minutes per unit
Chemical Wash: About 45 - 60 minutes per unit
Chemical Overhaul: Around 1.5 - 2 hours per unit
Time may vary slightly depending on your aircon type and available manpower.
Which aircon brands do you service?
We service major aircon brands in Singapore, including: Daikin, Mitsubishi Electric, Panasonic, LG, Midea, Toshiba, Fujitsu, Hitachi, Samsung, and Sharp.
